We are happy to report publication of the first data of the JDRF-sponsored ‘Biomarkers of heterogeneity in type 1 diabetes’ study (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT04977635). In this cross-sectional analysis of data collected between January 2016 and May 2019 (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT04977635) associations were found between residual C-peptide production in people with type 1 diabetes and impaired awareness of hypoglycemia.
